Suggestions for next update

We are looking forward to using these new abilities of the Photopic mod to our benefit.

From our standpoint these are the priorities:

1. Album name in page title (SEO, usability)

2. Display album description [on the indiv. album page] near back links (SEO, usability)

3. Customisable root url (SEO, usability)

+ Photo captions in lightbox (usability)

+ Add block view (usability, maybe SEO)

+ Optimise code into separate functions to make it easier to maintain. (dev)

Is it possible to extend your module to access private albums? I'm building a website for a school that uses Picasa for it's photo albums, but for obvious reasons, they are viewed by invitation only. If I could link them to the website and use Drupal's authentication to allow parents with login accounts only to view them, that would be aweseome. I can do that now, but ahve to move the pics to "public" albums in Picasa, which sorta defeats the purpose of having them secure.

Please advise.

Actually I've been experimenting with some photopic code these past 3 weeks :)

I hope I will have an update soon as it's been long overdue...

...just to let you know what I've been up to..... one of my wishes mentioned on my profile page is coming true... and it's quite a big one, taking most of my precious time until every paper has been signed.

I will also announce it here when an update is ready :)

Finally have found some time to update photopic.

The new version includes suggestion number 1. Album name in page title and 2. display album description on indiv. album page near back links.

I still need to discover how I can actually customise the root url of photopic, so this option will not be included anytime soon.

To customize the root URL, simply use the built-in Drupal URL alias feature and map the alias to the photopic path.

Is there a way to incorporate Facebook Share button on main page and individual galleries?

First off, what a great, simple, easy to use module. It fits perfectly with our requirements.

What I would like to suggest is a next/previous set of links when viewing an individual picture.

what do I miss is to be able to show albums from different user accounts.
I mean something like photopic/user1 ; photopic/user2 .....

Thank you for your suggestion.

It was never intended to make Photopic display albums from multiple user accounts, however I am keeping note of all the suggestions that I am receiving.
