My Latest Project - A Drupal Module (Update 2)
Time for another update on the progress of my Drupal module which I have decided to name; PhotoPic.
I have completed quite a few important things from my growing to do list and am learning a lot along the way.
The following lists those things that have been completed or still in progress:
- If lightbox is not used, photos are resized to the specified maximum width, still keeping the aspect ration intact.
- Navigation links added - but still require improvement.
- Admin settings page - form validation before saving the data done.
- Decided that CSS overriding feature will be added in a future release - Better focus on error checking and security.
- Shows a friendly error if the albums/photos cannot be loaded from Picasa.
- Release my module on drupal.org - In progress... I am checking my code to make sure it is up to the standards of drupal.org. There is a lot to read and learn before uploading any open-source module to the website. In the end it makes sense to stick to the official drupal standards for module development because your module will be of higher quality and the code more secure. People who download drupal open-source modules for use on their website would want some level of assurance that it will not break their site and possibly make them lose their visitors.

It has a power management circuit and also tells the user which is the current condition of the BATBL50L6 replacement battery.
