Dog found cute dumped rabbit

While my dad was walking the dog, it noticed a scared rabbit near a tree, hiding from a waiting cat nearby. This rabbit is quite tame and from what I have researched on the Internet, it is of the domestic type and not wild.

We all love animals, so my dad brought it in.

We prepared a temporary cardboard box, some water and a piece of lettuce. Unfortunately we have no specific knowledge on how to care for it, but with some Internet research, I have managed to gather enough information to help it get through the night.

It's so cute and tame, I cannot imagine someone dumping it outside, but we do have some weird people around where I live.

Our dog keeps checking on it from time to time to see if it's ok and the rabbit does not seem to mind. I think they are already best friends :)

Hopefully tomorrow the rabbit will be feeling a little better after a good night's sleep and I will take some pictures of it to put online.
